The service
YapCuts takes a video you upload, cuts silences, filler words and retakes, adds captions, and renders the result. You review every cut before you export. We aim for the service to be available all the time, but it is software and it will sometimes be down.
Your account
You need an account to use YapCuts. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You must be at least 16 to use the service.
Plans and payment
Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Whop. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of footage minutes; unused minutes do not roll over. You can cancel at any time from your Whop account and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires it.
Your content
Your videos are yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload, and you agree not to upload anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
Fair use
Plans are for one person. Do not share an account, resell the service, or use automation to pull more out of it than a person would.
Liability
YapCuts is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending things
You can close your account by emailing support@yapcuts.co. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use YapCuts after that means you accept the new terms.
